Partner in Living Rich, Inc. Co-author of "101 Ways To Enrich Your Life." Deliver keynote addresses. Develop and present workshops on numerous topics; each customized to suit the audience. Provide a broad range of consulting services. Published author in national newsletters of: Technical Association of the Pulp and Paper Industry (TAPPI); the American Society for Training and Development (ASTD); and Box Office Management, International (BOMI). Mentor for Girl Scout Instructor of Trainers candidates. Guest lecturer for HR classes at UW - Oshkosh. Trademarked the Living Rich™ name in 1993.

Manager of Human Resources for Valmet Inc. Appleton Division (1995-1998). Responsible for all HR functions at three locations, serving 425 internal customers. First woman and youngest person named to the Location Management Team. Established a new HR organization following 100% turnover in 1995. Improved internal customer satisfaction dramatically in two years’ time. (Employee survey responses went from within the lowest 10 scores to within the top 10 scores.) Earned the highest Malcolm Baldrige HR score in all of Valmet, to date. Authored this section for Valmet in North America. Successfully handled numerous legal concerns, ranging from equal rights to sexual harassment. Helped to create and implement a global incentive compensation system. Conducted union negotiations and other labor relations issues. Supervisor of four HR professionals. Directed other HR functions, including training, recruiting, benefits administration, immigration of expatriates, etc. Served as "consultant" to senior management, primarily in the areas of employee relations, communications and organizational development. Skilled facilitator of teams. Effective presenter to external customers, suppliers and the public.

Training Director for Valmet Inc. Appleton Division (1991-1995). Certified facilitator for Stephen Covey’s "7 Habits of Highly Effective People." Trained 50% of location employees in the 7 Habits in 15 months. Charter member of Team Team, which introduced and supported the team concept in the Company. Provided internal training in management and leadership, team process, partnership selling, quality principles, software programs, etc. Participated in Valmet panel presentation on team process at annual TAPPI Conference, October 1994. Published author in TAPPI Journal, December 1993. Trained suppliers in team concepts. Passed all ISO audits.

Marketing Communications for Valmet Inc. and Chicago firms (1985-1991). Published internal newsletters using desktop publishing systems. Assisted leaders with communications strategies, speeches, employee meetings, articles. Coordinated displays and events for national trade shows.

Bachelor of Science in Jouralism (Advertising/Public Relations) from UW-Oshkosh, 1985.  Graduated with Highest Honors.

Certificate in Human Resource Management from UW-Green Bay, 1995.
