Karen Diedrich is an accomplished
speaker, published author and respected manager. Her notable
accomplishments include over 15 years of practical
experience in the fields of Human Resource Management, Marketing
and Organizational Development. She is especially skilled in
communications -- and is known equally well for speaking
eloquently and listening quietly, with empathy. As a trainer,
Karen combines humor and a safe environment with serious
material, in order to achieve high impact and retention. As a
writer, she uses her strong command of the written word to
convey messages clearly and simply. (Even her fourth-grade
teacher said she would write novels, one day.)
A tough-minded yet gentle manager, Karen is respected
for building pockets of excellence within organizations. Her
desire to provide outstanding service is enhanced by her ability
to "connect" with customers and develop strong
relationships. She has the courage to do the right thing, and
she has gained credibility by doing what she says she will do,
when she says she will do it. Karen takes commitments -- and
most everything else -- very seriously (yet she frequently
expresses the corny sense of humor she inherited from her dad).
Her versatility, practicality and good judgement have earned her
a high-level management position in a heavy manufacturing
industry. And she is grateful for continuous opportunities to
provide "high-touch" help in this
"high-tech" world.
Karen’s personal objective is to use her blessings
to help other people, to build "goodness" in the
workplace, and to make a difference in the world. She believes
the Living Rich™ business is a means of achieving that
mission, (and credits her mother as her first
"backer.")
Sensitivity and spirituality are the cornerstones of
Karen’s personal relationships. As the mother of two young
daughters, Karen believes the best thing she can do for them is
to enhance their self-esteem and help them build their personal
power, so that they can live according to their convictions. (Of
course, there are times when just a full night’s sleep would
do, too.)
In her spare time, Karen enjoys playing piano,
attending theatre productions, and "connecting" with
family and friends. (She’s the one they call "Silly Aunt
Karen.") She is also known to "shop until she
drops" on occasion, and at least one retail store has sent
her a "thank you" note for her good business.
Karen takes great pride in her ability to live life
fully and with passion -- to be dedicated and driven, yet
dynamic, animated and caring. She hopes to help others live
equally rich lives: to create the balance they desire, to
achieve their personal and professional goals, and to find real
meaning in the journey.
